Seemed like a lock and potentially a Top 10 pick to start the year. Had a rough start to the season especially against Texas but seemed to settle in as the season went on. But the other night was obviously pretty bad for him. I don't know if he mailed it in or something, but hopefully he can get it together along with the rest of the defense.

he’s either forgotten how to play or we’re using him to hide a bigger weakness

I wouldn't pick him in the first round based on what he has looked like this year.

He played like he was protecting an injury...and made some horrid angles to the ball...and misread a number of plays getting way out of position. He looked slow mentally and physically that game so can’t just excuse it as a playing on an ancient not 100%

He’s not free to roam and make plays like he was last year. He is playing a true safety role for most of this season and he has had flashes but hasn’t been consistent.

The ankle injury against Auburn isn’t helping either. He probably needs to sit this weekend to allow an extra week for the ankle to get a little better.

Right now CBS has him projected to the Browns as the 9th pick in the 1st round. LINK

He is having some flashbacks to this freshman year. Last year was clearly his best performance overall. Hopefully he can step up his play to last year's level going forward consistently.

One week you guys are crying and hoping he's healthy to play in the Bama game... to shitting on him and claiming hes no longer a first rounder when the kid is obviously not 100% healthy.

All I can say is, he hasn't looked as good as he did last year and certainly hasn't played to the billings he had received in the preseason. Can't say what has caused it though.

No....however, if the "defensive genius" would play him off the line of scrimmage more like last year, he would be more valuable. Delpit is NOT a good cover guy, he's a PLAYMAKER. Well, play his arse across the line of scrimmage and LET HIM MAKE PLAYS!!!!!!!!

Depends on how he plays against Georgia and in the Playoffs.

He's just not playing at 100%. This time of year most players are banged up. He's probably 75 which his 75 is better than most. It would be good for him to take the week off.

i'm not sure it's shitting on him to call it like it is.

he looks like a liability out there, but obviously we don't have the depth to sit him.

i still see him projected in the 1st, but given his play i do think it's a valid question..

i am not usually negative at all, but delpit has been a huge liability these past two games, IMO.

maybe he does need to rest and get more healthy.

I'm not shitting on him. He's proven himself and is a very talented player. I hope he does get drafted high and does well in the league.
