Trump has had it out for Bezos for a while now

It's cute you think these acquisition projects can be influenced by a President.

The contract was supposed to be awarded in August and the DOD announced in August that it was putting the awarding of the contract on hold after Trump said his administration was examining Amazon's bid.

You think Trump's administration was examining Amazon's bid because it was the second place bid???

I think it's cute that you think Trump couldn't influence the awarding of this contract.

Microsoft didn't have experience on this type/size project. Amazon did.

It's Microsoft. It's not like the contract was awarded to Dropbox. And doesn't that position imply that the contract should have been bidless? That's a good way to waste money. Don't you know Trump's motto, now America's motto, is "under budget, ahead of schedule"?

Why, because they didn't get it?

Reminds me of a stunt Hillary Clinton pulled in 2008 in the Nevada primary.

Her team was lobbying hard to setup primary voting locations inside casinos on the strip so that employees would have easy access to vote, she was anticipating winning the endorsement of the casino employees association.

They came out and surprise endorsed Obama and the next day her team filed a lawsuit to attempt to stop the voting booths in casino thing.

Glad to see the lines drawn by ideology on yet another topic by both sides.

You think politics had nothing to do with Boeing getting the USAF tanker contract? BS. Obama and the Washington State Democrats stepped in.

Airbus went ahead and built a facility here in Mobile Al anyhow. and the workers here that Patty the lying arse Dyke Murray said couldn't assemble aircraft do just that to this day.

Boeing is still struggling with the KC46, three years behind schedule and STILL having ISSUES. Airbus had a tanker already proven and flying. the USAF got fricked and so did we by Barry O.
