Also , the Alabama game he was getting blown away by the outside pass rush.
Go back and watch !!
How in hell did we score forty-six points if he was getting beat so often?
When he was injured they brought him back into the game as soon as he recovered.
He must have been doing something right. Clyde scored the last TD on his side of the field.
Hmmm?

Again i wasnt really trying to discuss what he was doing. This was more of me telling everyone what he was doing.

It looks like he tries to grab Emery and tell him get off the field. Not sure what others are seeing.

Yep. Colatta mentioned this on Whiskey & Wine (though he mentioned the wrong quarter). Emery doesn't (or maybe didn't) know the playbook and stayed in to block instead of going out for the screen. Joe scrambled and made a first down of it anyway. Then got up and pointed at Emery. Hasn't been seen since.

I had to quit reading the retarded responses, the OP is correct.
But this was not the last we’ve seen of Emery. He was in the game the next week and got stopped on two straight downs when we needed 1 yard for a first down, losing 3 yards on the second attempt. That was the last time we’ve seen him.
Emery will be a great back for us in the future.

Well we would have scored 60 points if he was blocking pass rush. Do you ever look at replays of games?
Clyde scored because 76 can run block. ! That's not the issue.
Its about his pass blocking.

Thank you, yes lots of difficult responses to work through
Emery is an amazing talent and should be able to work through some of those first season issues. I couldnt imagine the adrenaline that he had to be feeling when he got in the game. I dont knock the kid for messing up excited to see him mature in this offense!

No it was pretty obvious it was a screen play, emery fed up and blocked a random lineman instead of getting to the spot of the screen, burrow made a heads up play and then told him to get the f off the field after. But that is just one mistake, if he was ready he could easily work himself back into the rotation. Most guys take a year or 2 to adjust to the speed, he will still be a good one before all is said and done.

I don't know why people are arguing with you abuot this. It was discussed on the radio on Moscona's show and morning show on Monday the following week. They didn't go on and on about it, but they all mentioned that Burrow was upset with him later on the sideline because he didn't know what play was called, and Burrow could have gotten clobbered and they would have lost 15 yards. Emery didn't re-enter the game, either. I know people want to believe Emery will be great and everything is roses and sunshine between LSU teammates all of the time, but Burrow was pissed, the coaches were pissed, and guess what? He has only seen the field twice on offense since that moment.

While the OP is correct, some of us didn’t listen to Moscona or hear it from any other source.
Yes, in retrospect, it’s an obvious screen that Emory screwed up.

It wasn't obvious to OP, which is why he had to edit his post.

Are we redshirting him ? How many games has he played ? Stud of the future

An assertion like the OP would normally link to the claimed backing comments.
But you apparently have a different set of Markup options than the rest of us.

That play was def a screen and he looked to be telling him to get off the field
Posted on 11/13/19 at 6:35 pm to 225Tyga
OPs getting argued with but there were people on the sideline that confirm joe told him to GTFO the field.

Yeah that a pos posf. That play look busted on pass rush protection. Without the nudge block could have been a sack.
