When does this victim mentality, whining, and attacking free speech lose it's coolness? It will be nice.

To be fair and honest about this, on any given day you can read probably four different definitions of where the age group falls... On this msg. bd. (Message board) alone.
Most are around the same general time frame, and anyone saying teenagers are millennials would be very wrong.
The idea behind the term millennial was that the generation came of age during the turn of the millennium. It would be dumb to include someone born in 2005 in that grouping.

Whoa now, Captain. I'm pushing 40 and I'm Gen X, not a millenial.
Actually might want to check that. 80s babies are pushing 40, we are millennials.

the commonality of this are the "ok Boomers" who think millennials are 40-12 yeas old.
Well it is typically defined by a wide range of birth dates.
quote:
Millennials are defined by the US Census Bureau as people born between 1982 and 2000, although there are other definitions. Generation Z is the subsequent cohort.
Before millennials, there was Generation X, then the Baby Boomers, then the so-called Silent Generation who were growing up during World War II.
Even the Pew Research Center's attempt to come up with better guidelines leaves a wide range that seems wholly inappropriate given the changes from the 80s to the 90s.
quote:
The Silent Generation: Born 1928-1945 (73-90 years old)
Baby Boomers: Born 1946-1964 (54-72 years old)
Generation X: Born 1965-1980 (38-53 years old)
Millennials: Born 1981-1996 (22-37 years old)
Post-Millennials: Born 1997-Present (0-21 years old)

Millennials and kids today really believe they are going to die in a few years because of climate change.
I’m not joking.
quote:you can thank the education system provided by Boomers.
here was a 16 year old kid interviewed by npr and he was openly sobbing and weeping because he believes he is going to die in a few years due to climate change...and no one will do anything to stop it.

Yeah like fr.
If a kid cries ab how we’re ab to die of climate change they’re gonna get bullied hard af by gen z.
Gen z as a whole is more conservative and realist.

It’s simply another attempt of the progressive underbelly of America to belittle and discard older people in this country because they vote differently than the underbelly wants them to.
Let's just discard them so I can keep my SS.

Roger this is the second thread you have said this in today. I am just curious what makes you so mentally tough and what millennials can learn from you?

Ok boomer is funny because old folks get butthurt by it. This thread is evidence of that.
Shattner didn't sound butthurt. He recognized a teachable moment and took advantage.
He didn't sound triggered in his posts.
This is what triggered looks like.

That kid would be gen z. That Greta chick everyone loved to talk about is gen z. Same with that dumbass Hogg kid.

That whole "gen z is so conservative" thing came out 2 years ago when the oldest gen z kids were 20. This shows they're fairly liberal on a lot of things, even moreso than millennials on a few.
