Seems like coaches that took bribe are the ones to harm USC

Feels like a waste of time

Someone have different view?

I’d give her ample time to plead her case to me in private.

If her daughters cared to join in, I’d allow that as well.

So if I pay someone to commit a crime for me I'm free and clear? Good to know.

I’d take her daughter for free. She got robbed.

IIRC, the big problem was that she laundered money through a charity which was a sham then wrote it off on her taxes.

Ask the IRS if tax fraud is no big deal.

The University of Southern California takes federal dollars. Loughlin bribed an organization (USC) that takes federal dollars to admit her kid.

That is a crime.

Is bribery a crime in every situation?

Or just of public officials?

When the organization being bribed receives any type of federal funding like USC does, it is definitely a crime.

She didn’t bribe USC. She bribed a coach.

Regardless, it should be acceptable to pay outrageous amounts of money to get your dumb kid into private school. The money goes to help the rest of the student body and is worth it.

Donating millions to get into Ivy League schools is normal, why aren’t those people going to jail?

I think her only frick up is hiding it as charity and not filing it properly with the IRS.
