Another reason not to vote for JBE

Just nailing his coffin shut

What a dumb move. Rispone needs to run that call in an ad for the runoff.
ETA, although, at the end of the day, I think it's illustrative of the fact that JBE realized pulling 50%+1 in the primary was really his ONLY shot here.

Not really. This was meant to get the black voters to the polls.
Oddly enough, my parents are way more conservative than me and never entertained the thought of not voting for JBE.

that's fricking retarded, JBE. get a handle on this campaign

Yep. Shades of 2014 Landrieu defeat here.

I can't imagine being on the fence, and having an Obama robo-call push me over into JBE's court.

I'm assuming you didn't get this call.
The calls were made to those who they thought might be "on the fence" between voting and not voting.

The ship is sinking. Last ditch effort. Loser making a loser effort. It’s ok, JBE... as a trial lawyer and soon to be former politician, you'll make a lot more money out of office!

Yeah this is all about turnout
Black voters don't show up for runoffs

Great. Does this mean another march with subsequent police killings again?
BRPD better get ready to get shot at soon.

Regardless, very short sighted.

Not really. There are plenty of boomer Republicans that will vote JBE no matter what.

also, to remind you JBE was a Hillary super delegate.

It was a Hail Mary. I knew that's what JBE was going for when I saw he had people running around putting up campaign signs in certain areas of New Orleans at 1:00 pm Saturday.

If it would have gotten him to victory on Sat, it would have been genius.
Didn't work, and JBE just lost a big part of his "I'm a moderate" platform.
This is like throwing into triple coverage with a tie score on the last play of regulation. If it works... you are a hero. But there's also a chance it gets intercepted and run back for a touchdown, and you lose.

I know of three very conservative old people who think JBE is such a nice guy they need to vote for him again. I don't get it.

Boomers are the worst generation in this country and it's not even close.
