Trump has ruined politics

After his next term we'll either be left with a typical politician stiff, or some hip outsider who will try, and fail miserably, to be like trump.
Sucks, man
Sucks, man

I'm not so sure about this. There is a whole generation looking at the way Trump is winning.
I remember after The Sopranos, so many people said, "we'll never get another show like that." Look what happened.

We were correct

Trumps teaching them how to crush the progressives, but nobody else has the balls to do it.

Your life must really suck some serious arse... unplug and chill a little...

Perhaps.
I'll hold out a faint hope that Trump has carved out a direction/electorate for a paleolibertian, nationalist, and anti-alphabet soup kind of candidate to gain some traction.
In truth, the only reason he was able to win the office was his public celebrity that existed before he ran. Someone else who espoused the same rhetoric would have been given next to zero attention in the primary process.

Unfortunately there will never be another Trump in our lifetimes. And their is no heir apparent on the horizon either

Of the current crop, totally agree. I remember how Reagan inspired the very young though. That is the generation that put Trump in office.

Kind of be like when Saban finally goes to the house.

I look forward to a Charlie Sheen presidency because NO ONE and I mean NO ONE knows how to use Twitter like Charlie.

Yup. How do you influence a guy that already has "frick you money"? The rest of the swamp rats get to DC and realize there's jobs for every last brother-in-law, cousin, and cousin-of-a-cousin. And after their time in Congress is done. Trump already has that, and then some.

James Woods when he's not 86'd.

I think someone will try to mold their political image in the form of Trump's if/when he wins again, however, without the acerbic language.

Now, that is what is going to suck...

Yep, gonna be boring for sure. I forgot how much campaigning politicians lie and say anything voters want to hear, until I saw this crop of Democrat freaks this past year cater to every single demographic group and promise to make everything free.

Well besides the entertainment aspect, which was mostly a joke, I honestly don't see anyone on the horizon who will be able to contain the hornets nest Trump has smashed open.
We need to make some SERIOUS ground on squashing the progressive insanity or things will get bad very quick once he's gone.

Really, the onus is more on the Trump organization than anything else. In general, people have a hard time creating a political movement and skilled repository from scratch/the bottom up. Creating and cultivating the right people for a particular movement is on the shoulders of those who have the means and ability to do so.

What? Did I miss something?

I see a lot of threads on the tv/movie board asking for binge recommendations.
None of them begin and end with the Sopranos.
Great show, but far from perfect. Way too many cringe-worthy episodes.

Yep, H. No doubt. Exactly why I predicted it was "Trump's to lose" the day he jumped in. And why Tuberville will be in the Senate.
That said, it's really the state of the Culture around us that shapes the Candidate's appeal. Radical Obama>>>>Trump. Stable society...you might get your PL Nationalist...decaying society bordering on anarchy...the folk will back an Authoritarian.
