You should be worried and you should panic

Too many people trying to find a silver lining here.
We just went from a top-5 all time QB to a gloved QB who has trouble pushing the ball more than 10 yards down the field.
We are significantly worse than we were when yesterday began. This really makes the screw job last year and the choke job two years ago worse because those were our chances.
Be upset and mad and make your family uncomfortable around you. Call your boss a fricking prick and get fired. Start drinking more. Try heroin. It’s truly a dark time.
I’m a hypocrite so I’ll give you two silver linings: Sean Payton is an incredible offensive mind and our division kind of stinks.

at least we get a trial run with Teddy before we give him Dak money

If it’s truly 4-6 weeks, then all that happens with Brees injury is we lose any shot at home field advantage.
Face it, these first 4 games were all tough Ws even with Brees. So going 1-3 in them (Thank god for that Houston comeback in hindsight, btw) isn’t this worst thing, Teddy just needs to guide us through the easy ones after that and the division is still within our grasp
Then the revenge tour starts in the playoffs

Arm strength is not Teddy’s problem. His problem is that he takes way too fricking long to go through his progressions and he can’t read a defense for frick. I’m hoping Sean can figure out a way to scheme to his strengths with a full week of prep.

It's certainly not good. There's not a silver lining. It's damage limitation at this point. If Drew can manage to only miss 6 weeks, you have Cards, Jags, Bucs, Bears, Seahawks and Cowboys in that span. Three games you could possibly win without Drew. The other three would be very tough, but maybe you get a defensive gem. If you're 4-4 at the halfway point in this division, you still have a chance.

Would’ve been nice if the Falcons lost last night.

I like my boss and drinking isn't really my thing. Would it be cool if I just threaten my neighbor's kid with a rake?

That was my concern going into this season. Luck and that the odds would catch up with the this team.
The Saints were fortunate to avoid catastrophic injuries to guys like Brees, Kamara, Thomas, Jordan, Ingram, etc during that two year run. The ability to keep your guys healthy is a big part of being able to win championships because EVERY team is going to deal with injuries. Some just have worse luck than others. The Saints had been relatively fortunate in that dept

*NFC South*
It would be amazing to win the division this season at 9-7 w/ Brees coming back towards the end of the season. Through 2 weeks, I don't believe something like this would be far-fetched if Brees misses significant time and the way the rest of the division has looked.
Brees comes back playing like a football god that he is and wins the Wild Card at home and go to LA and win in the Playoffs.
Also, the NFC West is interesting...no one is really talking about the 49ers. They are still in the TBD mode to see if they're for real or not. 49ers, RAMS, Seahawks. The NFL is crazy and if the 49ers/Seahawks won the West and the Rams travel to NOLA for a Wild Card matchup with a better record would be glorious.
These are my little silver linings.

What is this, 2011? If you haven't graduated to heroin by now then you've got some catching up to do. Hustle bruh.
