Yet everyone seems to want him to sacrifice carries for those guys.

Clyde - 4.92
TDP - 3.08
Emery - 2

He’s also been given more snaps with the 1’s and able to get a sweat going.

How many touches for CEH compared to the 2 freshman?

The most important requirement of a 2019 LSU back is to read the defense, pick up the blitz, make the block and release to be the valve. Clyde has that down. That people are complaining just shows they don’t understand the offense.

, so everyone has seen enough in TDP's 13 carries to know he needs more? Or is it Emery's 9 carries that are enough to play him more?

This shite is nuts man.

I really like CEH, but this is disingenuous to say the least.

This is like you comparing Etling to Burrow last year because of their numbers.

You will be on the wrong side of this one too if that is your take. Trust your eyes.

37 attempts vs 22 combined for the freshman.

CEH is much better than many on this board are giving credit.

You’re stupid if you think you shouldn’t give the freshman snaps.
Or maybe you’re just stupid.

Same thing I told you in the other thread - my eyes tell me CEH has been the most consistent back. The freshmen surely have more upside, but they're not doing enough yet to justify substantially more carries vs CEH.

I have no problem with CEH being the starting back and getting a majority of the carries and plays. He has earned it. The freshman will get there moments to shine and will have the next couple of years to leave their footprint on the field. Patience young grashoppers.

I think back to the Burrow TD pass to Jefferson to clinch the Texas game and I recall Lanard stepping up to keep a Texas rusher out of Joe's grill.

That skill set may well be a factor in early distribution of [playing time.

They should get snaps, but people are clamoring for them to cut into CEH's carries. That's absurd.

We found the Catholic High grad.

Seriously...there’s so much context lost here. They got most of their reps without the 1’s at QB, OL, and skill guys.

I get the point you’re trying to get at. But it’s not valid.

The freshmen will be better runners but this O is about pass protection first. Burrow doesn’t have time for “development.”

They're also getting their reps against GSU and Northwestern State, against many of their backups too.

ETA - and wrong Catholic High in my case.

Don’t you think his consistency could stem from playing with the 1’s while the best passing game in nation slings its dick around?

You are better than this my dude. Don’t let this be another Etling take

CEH hasn’t been good there either. He’s about 50/50. He had some bad whiffs in the UT game.
