That's the thing...makes me wonder of the posters shouting about this, how many have ever redlined for an extended period of time at an athletic endeavor, especially on a day like yesterday. It happens, and my take away is that these guys were pushing to the max all night. I seriously doubt its a hydration issue, and I seriously doubt its a conditioning issue. I think its an issue of maxing out in these conditions, there are limits to performance.

I once helped set up for an outdoor wedding on Lake Austin in July. It was so hot, I over heated and hallucinated. I was 24, and had been working out with a trainer to get ready for my own wedding a few weeks later.
I can totally believe the cramping. I will take Louisiana heat over Texas any day.
