It was... it was brutal all day and I even was suffering from cramps during the 3rd quarter. I should be used to this living in Houston and being out in the sun most days. With that turf, it drove up the temperature at least 20 degrees.

That's the thing...makes me wonder of the posters shouting about this, how many have ever redlined for an extended period of time at an athletic endeavor, especially on a day like yesterday. It happens, and my take away is that these guys were pushing to the max all night. I seriously doubt its a hydration issue, and I seriously doubt its a conditioning issue. I think its an issue of maxing out in these conditions, there are limits to performance.
