Politicians can only do so much with the population they’re given
Not that ours have ever done anything worth a shite but there’s no denying the populace here is going to always hold back the state

I've always looked at a state like Georgia which is pretty similar to Louisiana demographically. They are +/- Louisiana maybe 2-3% yet it's a far better state.
