The Eastbank had a league of 4 teams, and this team is the best of the 4. There are younger age groups for EB that is basically a feeder system
West Bank has a league going now, NORD is starting one. The talent pool for EB will shrink
Dont they have it set up so that the East Bank plays the West Bank for the right to advance?

I meant from when I was growing up. Ive noticed many prior dixie leagues changing to little league. With the exception of a couple they all really suck now though with how widespread travel ball is.
Word is that 10+ cities have reached out to Little League this year alone. All around Louisiana.

Go see the Eastbank game changer page
Can you link this page? I looked and all I can find in their schedule is the southwest regional games.
I recently had a discussion with a buddy of mine that is pro-USSSA and told him this team could compete with any of the top USSSA teams.

I have to go back and look. They weren’t their same name.

I don’t have my game changer but try Blind River Bullfrogs

This is a funny premise because half of the team is from a 12U major travel ball team.
The one kid that sticks out like a sore thumb is the Curtis kid. I wonder why they carried him as the 13th kid.....

If you carry 12 then each player must play 6 consecutive outs and bat once. You have 13 you can split those 6 outs up. It seems minor but it helps a little.

I understand the rules. My point is watch the kid play and look at his last name. It’s a damn shame that whoever got left off that roster because of political BS. His only at bat yesterday and the bat didn’t come off his shoulder.

Ok help me understand little league real quick. I grew up in a Dixie area only. In Dixie. You sign up for a league not a team. You have a league wide tryout for first year players for that age league and then the coaches have a draft even though some players are gonna be put on certain coaches through agreements. Then you play a league season and an All start team is picked from the whole league. And that team represents your area in the state tournament and Dixie World Series etc. So do I understand LL correctly that the teams we are seeing play now played together as a team in their league. So instead of it being a league wide all star team, the team that wins the league advances to compete in the regional, World Series etc? How do they divide up teams from the same area for league play?

No, that is an all-star team from the LL league on the East Bank.

No these kids were not all on the same league team. These coaches know who are going to be on all stars. Or at the very least know 10 of the 12 players on it. They can start practicing and playing USSSA tourneys during the regular season.

Playing 46/60 at 12 is just stupid.
Totally agree. Some of these kids are throwing 75mph+. At 46ft, that is almost impossible to hit and very difficult for an amateur umpire to call consistently.
