Kias are bad cars. You can put as much makeup on a pig as possible, but it will still be a pig.

A car is not something that you can design and build in a few years and it will come out near perfect. You need decades of success, tested design process, supply chain, experience, that these Koreans don’t have yet.

No, they aren't. Sucks that this guy got a lemon, but I own two and have had zero issues.

I've had a Ford, a Ram truck and a Jeep that have had transmission problems. It happens.

They look better than they used to, but they still have some pretty serious issues.

On the bright side, they also have a long warranty. You’ll need it.

Kias and Hyundais are not "bad cars". They have become some of the more reliable cars on the market. They offer 10 year/100,000 mile warranties on their cars.

In recent years, they have routinely ranked in the top half of the top 10 cars in terms of reliability along side Lexua, Toyota, Buick, Audi, etc. and ahead of Honda/Acura.

Kia has been building cars since the 50s.
