I don't think they will truly go all in and risk shortening the window unless they are truly one piece away which I don't think anyone truly thinks they are. The starting staff is pretty much a mess outside of Soroka and Keuchel and the bullpen is very shaky. The offense should be very, very good for a long time with almost no long term question marks outside of catcher. When the pitching is addressed then you fill in the holes with less caution. Right now it would be a huge mistake to get in to a bidding war for a non controlled elite pitcher if the cost is elite position player talent you're counting on like Pache and Waters.
