That's not what jumping the shark means.
It's actually quite the opposite.

Publix at Watercolor Crossing? That display never changes - no one is buying Ghost

I don't think they are in this situation

Eventually, the flagship gets old. Other beers come along to become the next "big thing".
I remember everyone complaining that GitM was too inconsistent and that Andrew should quit tinkering and just make one recipe. I think the tinkering was actually part of the appeal in a lot of ways. "What's this batch going to be like?". Once he stopped tinkering, people started getting bored with it.
Ghost is a great beer, but people are looking for something different. There was a time when Ghost WAS that different beer that people were searching for.

I love ghost. Bought some for when the power inevitably goes out

Ghost has become a staple in almost every craft beer drinker fridge now, it has essentially replaced Envie with me

the old days when you had to go hunting around town to get 1 4pk

I wouldnt turn down a ghost if someone offered one to me, but there are other beers I'd rather buy in lieu of spending 13 dollars on a 4 pack.

So glad that is no longer the case

I love being able to go into any store and buy as much ghost as I want.
Even as recently as 2017 I couldn't find it for shite in new orleans. Now it's all over even in Shreveport.
This thread is funny because just a year ago OP was asking where he could find ghost in NELA. Now he's a snob about it being more available.

I always buy at least a 4 pack, sadly I didn't this week and now I'm regretting it
