Thailand.
Specifically, bathing an elephant on the beach in Thailand.
We are heading back to Japan later this year and are trying our hardest to incorporate a quick trip to Thailand. It's actually pretty cheap to fly from Tokyo to Bangkok.

Likely the elephant in the beach area is abused FYI
Not to burst your bubble. There are sanctuaries in Chang Mai though.
My white buffalo currently is Myanmar and Bagan. Was all booked to go until my travel buddy got a crazy illness two months before departure.
Now that I have a kid it may be years before I can go.
Japan is planned for next year though.
