Yes, there was an idiot who brought his four-year-old son into the store and kept saying, “‘my boy is going ri be a real ladykiller.”
Said he hates when people are courteous drivers, too.
Just an all-around annoying guy
Sounds like an a-hole.

quote:We were not hunting. He lived beside a soybean field and I used a drainage ditch for cover to get close. Then I crawled a ways through the beans until I was 75 yards away in a tree line. Was going to slip off after the shot into the darkness.figured no one would be able to mark the shot that way. I was young, pissed off and going through the worst experience of my life to that point. I am so glad I didn’t shoot. Had even exhaled a half breath and started the squeeze.
admitted to almost killing his hunting buddy....

The buddy is a fricking idiot for going on that hunting trip after he stole the dude's wife.

I am an idiot for admitting this but I was on a week long bath salt binge and I was in a state of phsycosis. Long story short, I had a delusion that a friend of mine was plotting to kill me and my family. He called and said he was coming to visit so I hid behind a big oak tree in the front yard with my pistol but when he got there his wife and kid got out with him and I backed out last minute. I was really gonna do it. The kicker is that I thought Tupac told me about his supposed scheme and that i should kill him while watching YouTube. Sadly, I enjoyed the hell out of doing bath salts but I hallucinated badly each time I did it and it was always sketchy if I stayed awake multiple days.

Not murder but almost killed someone. They deserved it and I'd do it again.

Have you ever almost murdered someone?
Almost seems more like failure.
In eastern KY, "he needed killin" was an accepted legal defense.

No but in high school my bud pulled a gun on me after I stole his girlfriend. Later, he thanked me.

Yes, I almost killed my FIL once. That a-hole had the nerve to teach my oldest son how to ride a bike, while I was at work posting babe threads on the OT. Luckily I was talked out of it.

Once I had a "Best Friend" when I was aroundf 18 or 19 and he did some dirty shite behind my back, he stole a bunch of shite from other people we knew and blamed it on me, then it was proven that he stole everything and he acted like a bitch and broke in my house while I was gone and stole a bunch if shite from my mom and dad, and then came back a few days later and stole my pit bull. I later found out that he sold her for an ounce of weed to a fighting ring, and she wasn't a fight dog she was a fricking house dog. But at that time my blood was boiling and I was done with him and wanted to kill him. One day I was outside with my mom and dad doing yard work and he passed in front of our house so I waved and he pulled in my driveway. Driveway was a QT mile long so I ran in the house and grabbed my shotgun and was walking outside and my dad stopped me at the door and told me to think about what I was doing and that I could be gone for life, and he took the gun from me, so I went outside and pulled the dude out his truck and gave him a good old fashion country boy arse whippen. I really wanted to put him out his fricking misery though. He was a real POS!

I would if I had too. Like if someone fricked with my family.
Otherwise in the past I may have wanted too, but the law is there for a reason.

The threat of getting raped for the rest of my life in a small, cold cell is enough to discourage me from going through with it.
From what I understand, prison rape isn’t as common as most people think it is.. sure, it happens- but seems to be very rare.. and of course i imagine there’d be opportunities for consensual homo sex if you’re into that.
Personally, i dont need the threat of prison to keep me from murdering someone, i just choose not to since it’s the right thing to do.

Close. Very close.
About 20 years ago. The short story:
Late night 2am drunken fight, the guy is on the ground and I was getting ready to smash his head with a cinder block. I was on top of him with it raised up over my head and thankfully, a friend of mine jumped in and grabbed it just as I was starting to come down with it.
My intentions were NOT to kill him, - but it definitely would have killed him. I was too enranged, dumb and drunk to realize it.
When I think back on it, I am so thankful (and embarrassed for totally losing it). He basically saved my life. Every now and then, the story will come up - - "hey man, remember that night when..." I just shake my head and say, thank you brother.
I have a lot of things to be thankful for, but that one will always be at the top of the list.
