This thread wasn't as funny as you thought it would be.

The color guy (I'm drawing a blank on his name) was dumbfounded that they kept throwing inside.

He kept repeating that the kid couldn't extend due to a shoulder injury like CPM and Dunn could hear him.

It was a tough spot. We couldn't walk that guy to bring up FSU's best hitter.

Full count you throw your best pitch. His best pitch is a fastball. Sometimes the hitter wins good at bats.

Tip your hat and move on.

Yeah, this isn't true. You also don't ever throw the same pitch, in the same location, more than twice in a row to a good hitter. They threw the same pitch, in the same location, 4 or 5 straight pitches.

It was a terrible pitch sequence.

while i tend to agree with this........it was a full count for over 5-6 pitches. all fastballs. Albert had em timed up but was just fouling them off.

It was to his power side and was a fastball for the fifth time in a row, the dude was gonna catch up to it eventually and boy did he ever. Horrible called pitch sequence by Dunn.

V couldn’t throw much for a strike...it was the wrong decision, clearly. His fastball was meat...belt high and inside. He should have been pulled for Fontenot during that at bat, especially after all of the foul balls.

Then, they kept him in and the next kid is 3 feet from going yard.

I think the blame goes to the pitch calling for sure. You know they are a patient team that will take strikes and we pitch around everyone. We have so many pitchers that go into long counts and it’s because of the pitch calling.

I know for a fact that Dunn runs the pitchers legs off! Only real athletes will know what I’m talking about!
