I have a 13 year old GMC with 170000 on the clock.... I'd wake up tmrw and trust it enough to drive to Alaska. 100,000 ain't much on a vehicle these days.

Not to derail the thread, but that is my dream road trip.. from TX/LA to Fairbanks, AK, thru Canada via the Alaska Highway.
i have the vehicle, a Jeep with under 60k mi., my dog to travel with (would be more fun than the wife).. just need to find the time.
