Poor Rickdaddy. Still crying over shite from over a decade ago knowing it doesn't matter anymore as he watches his world crumble around him.
im not crying over anything. im pointing out an O worshiper thats dismissing ole miss in favor of some made up tenure at Tennessee. im sorry you cant see that.

How bout the 2020 recruiting class R-Daddy? Not too bad huh? And that is despite what happened at Ole Miss over 12 years ago.
show me where i said different.
show me where i said O cant be successful at lsu because of a job he had 10 years ago.

know it is disappointing to you and things couldn't be any worse right now but IT IS WHAT IT IS.
whats disappointing? the fact that i accurately predicted our win totals for the past 2 years?

deal with what? you and the 5 other worshippers that have that labeled the O hire a massive success with zero titles?

They don't remember all those years we finished in the Top 5 defensively, you know, when we had more than 2 decent D linemen
Man, what I wouldn't give to see another situation like Orgeon's vaunted Blur offense getting worn down by our defense and Sam Montgomery on his knees in position at the line beating on the turf and screaming at them to hurry up. Love him or hate him, Les Miles getting that defense conditioned and ready to shite down Oregon's throat by running two offenses at the same time against one defensive squad during practices was a stroke of brilliance.
Then you have ABC doing nothing but sucking off Oregon and in the moments the dick popped out of their mouth, they were reminding everyone that LSU will have to deal with De'Anthony Thomas' speed. And Barkevious Mingo runs him down. From behind. From the other end of the line. In the backfield.
Meanwhile, water was covering 75% of the Earth and Mo Claiborne was covering the rest while Tyrann Mathieu was free to just ruin people's shite.
And that's not to take away from anyone I didn't name.
That 2011 defense was fricking frightening and was a thing of beauty to watch.

Not sure how you don’t get this. It’s literally the exact opposite of Cam and Les calling plays that didn’t fit our QB’s style of play. It’s one of Ensminger’s strengths. He doesn’t try to make the player fit the offense (i.e. square peg, round hole), he builds the play calling around the skill set of the QB.
ETA: I haven't researched previous staff's career avg offensive ppg vs Ed's, so edited in honesty.

“ Exceeding“
It’s pretty frustrating to me that 35 games after firing a coach, our offensive production is not one bit better.
Hopefully, we will all be smiling after the Texas game because of the improvement with our offense. It’s certainly about damn time.

I'd think the feat would be a piece of cake considering how terrible they all were.

Why are y’all mad about it now? Y’all were circle jerking to that shite when he was hired.
I'm not sure how many were bragging about o getting the job and "being one of us", but however many of them there were, they were sure loud and proud about it.
It doesn't seem to be popular today, in this thread so far, but there were some fans "circle jerking to that shite.'

. And to think some assholes wanted to throw Aranda under the bus for Florida and aTm in defense of Orgeron and ensminger. F all that
WTF who did this? Florida's edge rushers gave the offense hell. LSU really had no answer for that. It had nothing to do with Aranda.

I don't follow. Because an "anonymous opposing coach" speculated he thinks O would have done well in Tennessee in 2009, his time at Ole Miss is wiped clean? Just trying to understand what point you're trying to make here.
The stuff about our defense not being great is pretty hilarious IMHO. Seems Aranda may be a victim of his own success at times.
What happened at OM doesn’t mean a damn thing. It was 15 years ago at a program that hasn’t won the sec since the 60’s. But y’all still cry about us hiring the worst coach in OM history. Newsflash maybe y’all arent as knowledgeable as y’all think when it comes to coaching. I’ve said if CLM can win here there is no reason O can’t.
Aranda is a victim of his own success? We had better defenses under Chavis and Wisconsin had better defenses whenhe left. Defensively LSU always has top 5 talent.

How anyone thinks it's relevant is beyond me. It makes them look stupid as hell. As was mentioned in this thread earlier O is 31 and 11 since then. You think that O learned by his mistakes? I would say that he has. As another poster mentioned Alleva worked against Les and he pulled the same tricks against O. Alleva was not a good AD. Woodward will give O the tools to succeed. If he doesn't it will be on O and when he has to go on down the road it'll be his own fault. I firmly believe that O will ultimately be successful here and LSU will return to dominance.

If you're going to tout his past success as a recruiter, why can't someone else acknowledge his past failures as a head coach?

Lindy’s and Athlon’s preseason mags are shite, full of inaccuracies and made up stuff like this. Save your money. They cater to the market comprised of fans starved for college football, and come out right at the beginning of that long period between spring practice and when the players report in early August. Not a lot of news there, so they make shite up, and give their esteemed opinions about various college football teams, most of whom they don’t really follow. And you know what they say about opinions...

It’s not relevant now but it certainly was a valid topic when he was hired. It is part of his resume, does it mean he can’t do better, of course not but to act like it was not a legitimate concern during the hiring process is nonsense

I agree. I was livid at the hire. I ranted for about an hour then I got with the program. As far as I can see he's been able to put all of that behind him and the team looks good. The fall will be his best team yet.
