Have a little boy who will be 2 in 3months. We have a couple lake camping trips planned and will be around water and have him in the boat. Obviously want something coast guard approved, but was wondering from people with experience what has worked for you? He will not be in the lake, but will be wearing it as a safety precaution...also he is 29lbs. Thanks

My advice. Don’t take a 2-3 month old out on the water.

At that age babies can still breath under water.

This should be your kid’s second summer of swimming lessons.
Why have you not had him taught how to swim, yet?

The puddle jumper types actually work really well. They do a good job keeping their head safely out of the water. They are also CG approved.

I have seen dating advice, brain tumor diagnosis and cures for cancer on the OT. I figured this was the place, if any.
