Tomorrow is gonna be like Opening Day with regards to starting pitchers. Some have struggled to start the season, but still a hell of a day. I’d put Stroman in the group below too. I think his pitching style, although not sexy because of his absence of strikeouts, is advantageous in this era of baseball.
deGrom
Scherzer
Kluber
Taillon
Berrios
Cole
Tanaka
Price
Greinke

I agree, but he’s doing a hell of a job filling in for Severino.
Being this is a baseball thread, I’ll put this here. Which young(25 & under)pitchers does everyone see taking the big step, now or in the near future? Big step meaning Cy Young contender.
There’s 3 I have my eye on...Jose Berrios, Shane Bieber & my dark horse, Brad Keller. Out of those 3, I think Bieber will have the best career.

Snell prob doesn’t count but if he does then him
I think one of those Braves young arms is going to pan out. I really like what I saw from Max Fried the other day when I watched
Buehler going to be a stud in LA as well
Flaherty in STL is another

I like German Marquez a lot. But pitching at Coors Field will likely keep him from Cy Young contention.
Chris Paddack is another I am high on, but it's definitely a little early to be thinking Cy Young with.
Tyler Glasnow has always had monster stuff and looks like he may be putting it together with The Rays. I'm still a little skeptical he will be able to throw enough strikes consistently though.

Jose Berrios is my favorite to watch. He reminds me so much of Jose Fernandez who was must-see for me.
Flaherty is another I really enjoy. He’s so unafraid to go after guys, I love it.
A bit off-topic but I think I’m ready to write off Syndergaard as a potential perennial stud. It seems like we’ve been waiting for that next big step for a while now but I’m afraid he’s Strasburg 2.0 — which is still pretty good obviously.
