Lakeshow prob makes the playoff so no 4th pick for us. Pels probably get a little better adding BI and Hart to the mix making pur odds of landing the no 1 pick even less likely than they were.

The whole premise was that securing AD would lead to Kyrie and/or KD in FA. We're talking about the fricking Knicks. I'd bet my life they do that trade. They didn't get the number one pick so they never had to make that choice lmao

2. my main worry with BI was his potential contract demands as soon as we acquired him. that raised the volatility of his value a ton

had i known 2 and 3 wouldn't be issues, i'd have been all for the gamble...as long as we didn't get kuzma b/c he's garbage

Pump the brakes.
Zion is a freak, but AD is a top 5 player in the league and has staying power. Zion needs to remain healthy for a long time to be considered AD's level IMO. AD could win MVP and DPOY this year.
He has a career PER of 27.5 and a PER of 28.4 this year while going for 27/9/3.
Zion is a motherfricking badass, but it is still early.

I'm not a laker fan but most of the fans I saw argued that number 3 wasn't a serious issue. In regards to number 1, you are right but the whole point is lakers argued he was much better than what the Pels were putting on and that would be more clear when he left Lebron.
