Again, nobody denies that our players got paid. They did. But so did our star football players and so did everyone else’s star players in college athletics.

Nobody here is stupid enough to believe that we aren’t playing players.

But that’s not what’s on the tape (as far as we know). All we know is the he said Smart was given “a strong arse offer”. Well what does he mean exactly by “strong arse offer”? I’m sure you believe it means money. Most of us believe that’s exactly what he’s talking about. But it’s irrelevant what we believe he is talking about. The “strong arse offer” could very well mean money. But it could also mean “I guarantee you a championship” or “I guarantee you will be balls deep in all the sorority poon you can handle”. Neither of those would be breaking ANY NCAA rules.
