I apologize, I grew up in a time when we didn’t have walk up music, base running mits, elbow pads to lean into pitches, and dogpile when we accidentally beat a team by their catching missing a strike three.
...and I can guarantee you we never ripped off any jerseys when we won a game against a far inferior opponent. Had any team done that to us, we’d be laughing at them and saying it was their “World Series”.

Baseball is a mental game. After the team got their teeth kicked in last week I'm sure there was some doubt in their minds tonight. A win can help the team's confidence no matter how they get it. The kids were happy to get that win tonight. Why would you come here to say that happiness is a bad thing? What good can come out of that?

You are correct. Every win does help us get to Omaha.
My posts were more along the lines of: we were lucky to win tonight and we will need to play better to make a run deep in the postseason this year.
