Mike Tyson tried to pay $10,000 to fight a bully silverback gorilla at a New York Zoo

Former professional boxer and tiger owner, Mike Tyson, recently made a shocking confession.
According to The Sun, Tyson, 52, told the U.K. paper that he tried to pay a zookeeper $10,000 for the chance to punch a silverback gorilla that was bullying other apes.
Tyson said this exchange happened in the late 80s, after he paid to have a New York zoo opened up solely for his then wife Robin Givens and himself — so he could take Givens on a romantic, private date.
This lavish gesture was interrupted, according to Tyson, by an alpha gorilla that was bullying other gorillas.
“When we got to the gorilla cage there was one big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas. They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant,” Tyson told The Sun. “I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let smash that silverback’s snotbox! He declined.”

Now that’s a fight I would pay to watch.

I’m not sure that would have worked out the way he thought if he had punched the gorilla.

A silverback would have crushed Tyson’s skull in

That gorilla would have ripped his arms off and save Givens some trouble down the road.

Just goes to prove the elevator had trouble reaching his top floor if he even considered such a thing.
Hell, a 125 lb. male chimp would tear ANY man apart, much less a 400 lb. male silverback gorilla.
Would be funny for about 10 seconds, or until the ape got pissed, then it's all over.

Would have bitten his ear right off.

Would pay a lot of money to see that.
On another note, Robin Givens really f’ed that dude up.

Uhh, yeah. Animals have stupid strength. We gave ours up in trade for a bigger brain. Yes, even humans with as small a brain as Mike Tyson.

Only one that read his qoutes in his high pitched voice? Or only one dissapointed that there are no young Robin Givens pics posted??
This is funny though, and probably one of the first signs to RG what she was in store for. Ha.

He’s been functioning quite well without a brain for decades. I can’t imagine this being much of a setback for him.
