How about Steven K. Ross?

Associate Professor, Undergraduate Advisor
Ancient Mediterranean

Roman History is what I took back around 2000.
It was 2 or 3 classes.
I would have to look at transcript.

Chris?

Edit: at the farm unit on central station? Really good guy. Gave me a damn good dog and wouldn't let me pay him.

I took him for this course and also for Asian Politics. Really sharp dude who knew his stuff. I think he was a socialist but I like him. He speaks great English too as a second language.

No. His methodology which seemed so cumbersome for the simple programs we wrote in his class, was what I used throughout the rest of my CS classes.

As I began to code more complex programs the structure he required made more and more sense, and made those harder programs easier to code.

Had Stan Hilton for 4 different courses, really enjoyed all of them.

Vic Stader was good as well.

Had Plaisance for ISDS and he answered his cell phone in the middle of class with "what's up, dickbreath?"

Dr. Roider was absolutely the best professor I had at LSU. I took an additional class about Eastern Europe just because he was teaching it. Hilton was the second best, but it wasn't close.

Robert “Bob” Tague

It’s a wonderful day for Anthropology. Today we will be discussing bipedal hominids from the meliozonal era something something smart something monkeys something.

Between his full head of hair and cool belts, I couldn’t tell if he was 40 or 70

You’re the only other person I’ve ever heard of that took that class with him. That course was life changing

Tad Odell. That dude is the only reason I made it in the media (until I decided the pay/hours sucked and got out). I must’ve taken 5 classes with him because he never ran out of good advice.

Jay Shelledy, Craig Freeman, and Andrea Miller were world class as well.

Honorable mention anyone in the 80s have westerman for English?? He was a hippie to the core ala Bob Ross.

Also Chinese guy named Suh for calculus. Loved that man!

Dagmar taught German one semester and I think half the class went back to the dorm and masturbated after class. She couldn't have been older than 23.

Mark Slovak--Astronomy. Dude was cool as hell and a great teacher.

Got in trouble during my semester for some road rage incident on campus when he was on his motorcycle and slapped a student who cut him off or something like that. Put the stop on any out of class extra credit stuff he used to do which was great and we had to have a monitor sit in the classroom if I remember correctly. I think he was gone after that. It was a shame. He was awesome.

Armando Coripio was my favorite professor. Taught his classes mixing life lessons into them. He changed my though process on life and living.
