Nothing but books from you..........
Teams would GAMEPLAN to NOT throw to Deions side of the field... Thats game changing......
The NFL instituted the facemask and clothesline penalties because of Night Train Lane's dominance on the field from a physical perspective, the NFL's brand of legal assault used to be a brand of almost attempted murder/maiming on the football field and the NFL softened up the game to limit Night Train's dominance there. Moreover, Night Train's record of 14 interceptions in an NFL season (only 12 games) still stands after 6 decades, thats transformative, Peej.
Mel Blount's physical dominance at corner is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the increase in passing numbers and completion percentage with the institution of the Mel Blount Rule regarding PI, thats LITERALLY changing the game of football, my friend.
Peej, you don't think teams game planned for Ronnie Lott, Rod Woodson, Mike Haynes, Herb Adderley, Mel Blount, Night Train, Revis Island, Willie "Bump and Run" Brown? homeboy we're talking about transformative game-changing defenders on a weekly basis per their exploits on the field, if you don't think they changed the game like Deion changed it in that respect then you don't know football nor have a good comprehension of it.

One could argue that, he threw straight ice cold water on an unsuspecting reporter, not exactly champagne, could’ve electrocuted him, was within direct immediate proximity, and ADMITTED TO HAVING INTENT is what it is accept FACTS and your life will be great

McCarver dished it out, but couldn’t take it. He went over the top with his hatred for Deion and made it personal.
He deserved far more than a little bit of water thrown on him. A bitch slap across the face is what he deserved.

I think Revis has a solid argument, especially in the era he played.
