Attorneys are filing a civil suit regarding the no PI call. I think this is the right route to go. Why isn't the NFL and Goodell responding to anything. fricking assholes don't give a frick about them and their pompous asses.

Appreciate the passion, but this is a waste of time IMO.

Publicity stunt for the lawyers.

THis makes us look stupid. It’s frustrating, but think of the logistics here. This will not happen. It’s over.

You have a better chance winning the lottery

Don't think it would be too hard to send both teams to a practice facility and say: balls on the two, rams have 1 timeout, first down saints and 1:48 or whatever left.
If the game ends up going to overtime, then Rams win (no need to play more than 1:48 since you've already played the OT).
If there was EVER a time to see how this would play out, this is it

it would be 1st & Goal Saints at ~6 yd line with 1:41 remaining and the Rams with 1 timeout

I don't care how little chance it has. The NFL shouldn't get to walk away scott free. At least someone is attempting to hold them accountable. Nola is petty as hell if you screw it over and I'm here for it.

I had a dream last night that this scenario actually happened, and on the first down play the snap was botched and LA recovered. I was fricking pissed.

no thanks. think of standing up to the NFL. Any bad publicity to the NFL which further lessens the integrity of the rams in super bowl is okay with me right now.

probably should've filed it on behalf of bettors who lost money betting on the Saints b/c of that call than on season ticket holders, honestly

damn it
ETA: but here's how it would've played out
1:41 - 1st & Goal @ LAR 6 - Brees hands off to Kamara/Ingram up the middle or bounce it to the side Lutz wants the kick from and gives himself up for no gain - let's say that takes 3 seconds
1:38 - Rams use final timeout
1:38 - 2nd & Goal @ LAR 6 - Brees kneels for -1 yard - play takes 2 seconds (40 second play clock starts running with 1:36 left on the clock between 2nd & 3rd down)
0:57 - 3rd & Goal @ LAR 7 - Brees kneels for -1 yard - play takes 2 seconds (40 second play clock starts running with 0:55 left on the clock between 3rd & 4th down)
0:16 - Saints call timeout with :01 left on the play clock
0:16 - 4th & Goal @ LAR 8 - Wil Lutz hits 25 yd FGA... Saints take 23-20 lead - play takes 3 seconds
0:13 - Lutz squibs ball down field... let's say a Ram up man falls on it and immediately surrenders himself around the LAR 30 yard line - play takes 1 second
0:12 - 1st & 10 Rams @ LAR 30 - do a quick hitter to the sideline and get out of bounds for gain of 10 - play takes 4 seconds
0:08 - 1st & 10 Rams @ LAR 40 - try another quick hitter to the sideline and get out of bounds for a gain of 11 or 12 - play takes another 4 seconds (of course... if a Saint makes the tackle in the field of play on either of the previous 2 plays... the clock runs out and Saints win)
0:04 - 1st & 10 Rams @ NO 48 - Rams either send in Zuerlein for a 65-66 yd FGA to tie it or the Hail Mary/multi-lateral play... we leave our version of Gronk on the sideline... so long as either the FG is no good or the Rams are tackled on the play and don't get to the end zone the clock runs out and the Saints win

Nothing will come of this.
But if they introduce Robey-Coleman’s comments about intentionally interfering to disrupt the play into evidence, it could be interesting to watch.
This is why you don’t run your mouth.

Bro, NFL’s fricking Instagram already posted the Rams jersey with the super bowl logo on it.

I think they would also need to find concrete evidence (such as implicating emails) that the refs conspired to give the Rams an advantage. Even then the logistics as someone pointed out would be too much to overcome.
However, it would be hilarious if the league was forced to go through with this.

If only LA wasn’t in the 9th circuit, we could get anything through the 9 th circuit, almost anything....
