Treatment for athlete’s foot?

Joined a new gym a few weeks ago and I guess leaving my socks on in the locker room wasn’t enough to prevent athlete’s foot.
Any suggestions for treatment?
INB4 AIDS
INB4 It’s a nasty cheap gym (it is)

Wash your feet really well. Make sure they are dry, then douse in baby powder. If they don’t get better, get some ointment.

The spray powder works great. Tinactin maybe?

apple cider vinegar. put it on a cotton ball and swab b/w toes after you shower and dry off. works great for jock itch too.

The spray dries it right out.

Apple Cider Vinegar like other poster suggested. Apple Cider Vinegar cures a ton of stuff btw.

Once you start treating it, you’ll need to wash all your socks in bleach.

Gold Bond Medicated Powder in your shoes.

Keep your feet dry with powder. You can add an anti fungal cream if things stay the same or get worse.
I love the apple cider vinegar suggestions. Not that I necessarily doubt that it works, just seems like people can be convinced it cures anything. Big Vinegar marketing at work.

Yeah, but sometimes it's too "tough actin"
I got it about 2 months ago. Most likely the same deal in the gym locker room. Spray works, but you have too keep with it for several days after symptoms go away. I'd use it and it'd clear up in 2 days, then I'd stop and it'd come back really quickly. Took an extra week to get rid of it.

Athlete's foot is a fungus. You need a fungicide to get rid of it. I doubt an acid (apple cider vinegar) alone will get rid if it. Get one of those spray cans, I've used the generic from Wal-Mart to clear it up. If that doesn't do it, go see a doctor for something stronger that needs to be prescribed.

Tinactin Powder to get rid of it
Get you some shower shoes (flip flops)
Dry your feet completely before putting socks on (especially between the toes)
Air dry your shower shoes.
You can also spray rubbing alcohol on your shower shoes to clean them.
Don't pee on your feet that is a myth.

Tinactin works.
When I was a poor undergrad I used (believe it or not) Lysol because I had some already to clean the apartment. It hurt like a mofo but got the job done pretty quickly.
