Are you more excited about going into next football season than you were going into 2018?

Based on the posts and talk, I really believe there is much more optimism about 2019 football than there was going into this past year.
Is this evidence that "WE COMIN"?

Yes and it's not even close.
I went into 2018 with a lackluster attitude. "we're going to be 7-6 this year so I'm not getting my hopes up"
I'm very excited for next year

Yes, and this will be a universal truth

Of course. Orgeron did a great job of getting this team to show up in games where everybody picked them to lose. Not just great, an amazing job (outside of Bama).
Next year will be quite the opposite. LSU will be the one with the bulls eye on its chest. Will need to stay focused and take care of business, but it should be a great season.

Well yeah, we’ll easily be pre-season top 10, maybe top 5
ETA: and still picked 3rd in the West lol

I was highly optimistic going into the 2018 season. I'm sure that my outlook was colored by a certain amount of bias.
I'm even more excited about this season but I think it's less bias and more about things that can actually be pointed to.

What you thinking, Ben? 11-1? 10-2? 12-0?

I am excited every year about the same because it seems like it takes forever to start again, but expectations are higher next year.

Hindsight shows the best teams on our schedule were UGA Bama, Aggie and UF
We were 1-3
We were 1-3

I'm full-bore "We Comin'" this year.
If our WR's can catch like they did in the bowl game and we get improved depth, consistency, and performance out of our lines, this team will compete for the SEC West next year.

I’m riding high. My expectations are to be in the CFP mix late into November. 11-1 record would be nice but a 10-2 record is more realistic. I’m not expecting to beat Alabama but I definitely expect them to compete with them in the actual game. 29-0 really hurt. It wasn’t just a loss. It was almost demoralizing.
Like him or not, Orgeron is good at getting the team back on track after bad losses. I couldn’t imagine how a Les Miles led team would respond to 29-0 being ranked 3rd in the country.

Of course, we got a QB now. CFP or bust in 2019.

Yes, not even close.
With that said, the schedule is still tough and while I think 9-3 is the basement it wouldn't shock me.

For sure. I know O wants to win and wants nothing more than to win so I’m going to support him. Next year seems to be the year that all the pieces to the puzzle will finally be able to fall in the right spots.
Easier schedule, lots of experience from the offensive side of the ball returning, very talented recruiting class who will have immediate impact on the field, best DC in college football, DL should be better, and the OL can’t get any worse. Of course it’ll just come down to the same thing that every year comes down to and it’s the passing game. Haven’t had this much hope for the passing game since the 2013 season

Well the reality is, we need a lot of things to happen for us to get in with bama. We’d need them to lose to another west team. Then we’d either have to beat them twice, or play them very close in Tuscaloosa then beat them in a rematch in the CFP.

Included in that is the expectation that people are only getting excited when winning looks more certain. It's LSU Football, it's always exciting.
Excitement doesn't drive expectations though, as I still don't think Coach O can win anything meaningful. So yes, I'm excited for LSU football. Always am. But I'm in about the same place as last season in terms of believing he can get the job done. I think we've pretty much seen O's ceiling, and I'm pretty sure we'll finish with the exact same10-3/9-4 type record next year

I think the question is a little premature. Hopefully declarations for the draft are in line with expectations, but ask again after the 14th.
