It means that it will be overruled, the same 5 justices that ruled the mandate constitutional are still there.

How does this work sense Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts already fricked us on this?
To boil it down to a simple level:
In his original ruling Roberts said that the Constitutionality of the whole thing hinged on the individual mandate being a tax.
Congress got rid of the individual mandate/tax.
Therefore by his own ruling Roberts should now say that Obamacare is now unconstitutional.
We shall see if he follows his own ruling.
Also, one of the few things the Jeff Session DOJ did right was to abandon the defense of the ACA but of course the left was generally horrified.
Axios article
This is one I've been tracking for a while, my original TD thread is HERE

The federal judge actually used Justice Roberts ruling as the basis of his ruling:
-The ACA was was considered to be unconstitutional using the interstate commerce clause.
-ACA was only constitutional if the individual mandate was considered to be a tax.
-The individual mandate was abolished with the tax cut and jobs act.
-Now there is no constitutional basis for the ACA and therefore it is no longer constructional.
So it will be awfully hard for Justice Roberts to screw the country again.
