Just could have told Miles he wasn't gonna play.
But our "blame e'erbody else" society is what it is.
I don't all the facts but it sounds like he was misdiagnosed and it resulted in permanent injury. When you are 20 and naive you have more trust in a doctor than when you are older and wiser. At the same time it's a bad look for him to call out LSU when Miles isn't even here anymore.
