if he makes a good salary, contributes a nice percentage (+10%), they have a nice percentage match (+5%), and he's been contributing since out of college.
that is certainly possible. and is a smart move on his part. i'm not sure what's so laughable about that.

that is a lot of assumptions, and most who feel the need to post their salary, worth, etc. are full of it

Most of the posters here are high school educated residents of Livingston Parish. If they aren't financed to death and do contribute to a 401k, they don't understand how it works.
