Yup. And the fact that the company is mismanaged to hell.
It should have been allowed to fail and not bailed out by tax payer funds. No car company is to big top fail.

Of course tariffs are gonna hurt them. That's the idea OP
You make them pay for using non domestic steel, using parts made over seas, etc.
Then if they want to make more money in the world's largest consumer economy, they have to build their stuff here and get it from here.
Short term, tariffs hurt. Long term they are beneficial and are what built our now mostly gone industry (which is gone because we thought itd be a good idea to lower our tariffs to almost 0 while other countries kept theirs)

AGAIN, you're too fricking stupid to rub your brain cells together to figure this out on your own so I'll explain it to you.
GM made huge gambles in the last 10 years that didn't pay off. Shuttering factories and culling their workforce did NOT occur due to tariffs that have only been in effect for a few months you idiot.
Jesus you people shouldn't be allowed out of the house.

GM made a business decision, albeit ill-fated, to import, and manufacture Opel and Vauxhall models, and brand them as Chevy's and Buick's. They're cheap, small cars, with 3-4 cyl engines, that Americans have consistently, for years, turned their noses up at. They cant remotely compete with Ford's " World Cars ", which have been unmitigated successes. GM relies on China and $60,000+ trucks and SUV's, while throwing wasted cash at worthless, unwanted sedans, year after year.

Are those quotes similar to "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.?"

You can blame this on 3 points:
1. Unions
2. Mismanagement
3. A line of autos that simply do not sell.
Now, please go put your talking points in the dickhole.

well, if gm can't compete they need to close shop. those workers will find jobs elsewhere.
Trump disagrees. He's been whining on Twitter ( as usual) about the closures . Threatening GM that "they better put something else in.."( to replace those jobs).
I just wish GM would personally thank him on Twitter for the billion in tax cuts .

LOL exactly. I love how all of these Trump derangement syndrome betas are lining up to trash GM instead of facing reality

GM’s problem is terrible quality vehicles and a poor operating model.

i love how, despite roughly 12 years of material now, thats the one example everyone gives of Obama breaking a promise or lying. its always that one. because he did it so rarely that one stands out.

Is this the best you Commie scum can do?
GM's problems started long before the greatest President in modern history took office.

I love that the only thing you can ever hope to throw at me is a typo. Lol.

I laugh but the sad truth is that a-hole lied every time he opened his cockholster, it is unfortunate that that particular lie has impacted such a large population of Americans.

Well you make it so easy, your empty screeching posts really have little substance.

GM said they were cutting jobs to begin plans to focus on self driving vehicles and shite. Now, after he complains, they reply with "muh tariffs", even as other car manufacturers are opening more plants and creating new jobs.
