Why I don’t like the Red Sox

Easy. Their fans. Highlight of the crowd interaction tonight. Red Sox son and father behind us (20s & 60s respectively), around the 7th inning, son gleefully exclaims to his dad how he is ‘going to get in a fight when we win’, sandwiched with screaming chants to antagonize fans around him in the innings before/after. I was fortunate to learn through his rambling to anyone around him trying not to listen that he worked at Fenway and they had flown in the night before. I also witnessed him bringing his beer into the bathroom and resting it upon the urinal.
Couldn’t have reaffirmed the stereotypes I had of their fans any better than that.
Oh congratulations to the Red Sox players, by far the best team this year. Mookie plays with a joy rarely seen on a baseball field.

Nothing more obnoxious than bandwagon fans that use "we" when referring to such teams. I live in the Midwest/South, and know several Duke/Alabama/Patriots/Warriors (or Lebron)/Yankees (or Red Sox) fans. All of them are from the state of KY. Eff all those teams.
