Black?
Just black? Blacks aren't even black. Why not a full range of skin tone descriptors like the progs do with gender?
Progs, make this happen.
Start with mocha almond and go from there.

There was a great clip floating around in the pre-Youtube days with the black comic who used to work Venice Beach sort of "in the round" - it was 2 parts stand up and 1 part performance art.
He had an entire bit about how "white" folks:
Stay out in the sun and get a little brown, too long in the sun, turn red, etc. Conversely, he (and he was relatively carmel macchiato, Tbird, or a little darker) was brown if he stayed out in the sun, got embarrassed, etc., and white folks had the nerve to call him "colored" -
Best part of the bit - he borrowed a white girl's black purse (which was a whole funny negotiation on its own) he was not, in fact, black, but brown. So, after running through all the colors white people turned and black people didn't - he reiterated that black folks were in fact brown, not black - using the purse as sort of a color gauge next to his face.
There was a very dark skinned brother in the front row - so he runs up to him with the purse and said, "But this motherfricker is getting pretty close."
Some of the funniest shite ever.

There are more races and ethnic groups in Africa than anywhere on the planet, and they pretty much all hate each other.

Sounds like he might have lifted that from a fairly famous French language poem by a Senegalese poet, but that doesn't make the sketch any less funny
quote:
Dear white brother,
When I was born, I was black,
When I grew up, I was black,
When I am in the sun, I am black,
When I am sick, I am black,
When I die, I will be black.
While you, white man,
When you were born, you were pink,
When you grew up, you were white,
When you go in the sun, you are red,
When you are cold, you are blue,
When you are scared, you are green,
When you are sick, you are yellow,
When you die, you will be grey.
So, between you and me,
Who is the colored man?

There was a black guy who lived a couple of doors down when I was in school who would always say, "I ain't black, I red."
He was red.
He was red.

I had a black coworker that would call white people "hypercolored". I thought it was an accurate description.

Cool.
I thought it was an Arab Emirate that wasn't united.
