Every soundclip should be NOLA centric, IMO. We have plenty to sample from. Also have rebirth every now and then, dammit!!!
just got back from the Saints/Falcons game. There are obvious difference between attending basketball and football games but the entertainment even outside of the game was amazing.
Ludacris & Jermaine Dupre did a remix to 'Welcome to Atlanta' that included all of the Falcons players which played at the beginning of the game. 2Chainz, Bonecrusher, and Evander Holyfield all attended the game to pump the crowd up. And between plays, there was a live DJ playing pretty solid music. It really felt like if you were not at the game in Atlanta, you were missing out.
Excluding the differences between basketball & football games, New Orleans could easily create a similar atmosphere for the Pelicans with the unique talent in the city. Lil Wayne or Mannie Fresh could create an intro. You could have a live jazz band playing at least on weekend games, etc.
New Orleans is known for throwing a good party. And they need to make it feel like if you're not there, youre missing out on the best party in town.
