At the start of his term, President Trump had a net positive approval rating in 38 states. That number has slipped to 24, according to Morning Consult's August presidential approval ratings.
In Alabama, the president's net approval rating - the difference between those who approve of the job he's doing vs. those who don't - is down almost seven points since Trump took office.
Alabama, however, is still high on Trump, giving the president some of the highest approval ratings in the country.
Here are President Trump's approval ratings for August 2018 from lowest to highest:
Washington, D.C. - 17 percent
Vermont - 33 percent
California - 35 percent
Washington - 35 percent
Massachusetts - 36 percent
Oregon - 36 percent
Hawaii - 37 percent
Maryland - 37 percent
Rhode Island - 37 percent
Illinois - 38 percent

That jump from DC to the states is all you need to see to know he's doing a good job.

Just wait until he nominates Tua to the Supreme Court. Then it will climb to about 80%.

Are you hoping that happens before Nov. 10th?
LOL

If true some of those liberal states could swing Trump during his next run.
I would not feel comfortable saying during November because Trump pulls so many Independents but I am hopeful.

Does anyone have the time to put electoral votes to those states above and below 50% to see how it looks?

but one of these is not like the other 50 states. If we are insistent on including Washington, DC then I would like to see the Midway Islands, Guam, Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana, Samoa, and Puerto Rico added to the polling too.

a bunch of scared germans loved them some hitler too. how did that turn out? trump uses same tactics. promises, promises, promises. big lies. same speeches. psychology for the masses 101 perfected by mussolini. read your history. it is all there to see. all 3 huge egomaniacs. all 3 know how to captivate their targets. lets see how the trade war affects La dock workers. lets see how it affects usa auto industry. lets see how deficit affects your grandchildren?

Holy mother of punctuation and capitalization.
You would make an credible argument with both.

Doesn't say much, if you could have voted "no" during the last election I'm pretty sure that would have won. It doesn't matter how unlikable Trump is, you have to compare that to something else and that something else on the left side of the fence will likely be some other "nasty woman" who people will like even less and reelected Trump.

He would win any state he's at 45% or higher.
ETA: That's 296

People in VT are so out of touch. I guess that they do not mind the Canadians who hate socialized medicine coming from Quebec into Burlington for surgeries. I mean...how can you tell the differences anyway?
