That’s the same for literally every team in the country, he’ll probably only the same for 1/3 of the teams in the country. As most don’t have a competent backup even.
Orgeron can’t make anyone stay that doesn’t want. Personally, I’m a little old school in the sense that I think he should stayed and tried to develop his game more. There is no way I’m blaming Orgeron for this. He has to make a depth chart and if the kid didn’t want to be #4 and didn’t want to stay... what are you going to do. It’s all about instant gratification these days.
Some of you people need to listen to Hester and Flynn and their take on this. Those 2 are the most qualified local guys we had. Both were stars at LSU, yet both were buried on the depth chart in the beginning. Not to mention both played at least 6 years in the NFL and one of them made a shite ton of money as a QB. I think the later has a good idea of how things work for QBs.
