Let's hope that African billionaire buys us at twice our valuation. If Kroneke saddles us with debt so he can buy a ranch or some shite, then hopefully he gets asscancer and is fricked to death by a horse.

Chambers loan to Fulham is official. We better bring someone else in.

I'm seeing things on Twitter and on Arsecast that we are now scrambling to get a CB before the deadline. There are rumors that we are going after Vida from Croatia. This guy seems like the classic player that is just ok, has a good World Cup, then his price sky rockets. Can someone explain to me what the reasoning is for getting rid (loan) of a CB that has 3-4 years of experience with the club and has been playing well for an older player that has never played in a big league. I don't understand why they would put this pressure on themselves to find a player. Was the thought of having Chambers at CB that terrible for this year?

We still have four CBs. It's just that we don't have one elite CB.

andrew certianly seemed disturbed by the cb situation. i liked the way vida played in the world cup. seems like he would just be an extra body though.

The Vida rumors were denied. It really looks like we aren't going to bring in another CB. Maybe we have something in the pipeline that hasn't leaked to the press yet. I sure hope so.

In.
My first time venturing to the soccer board.
Years ago I found an Arsenal shirt while looking around a Goodwill store when I never paid attention to soccer.
I looked into Arsenal and became a fan.
This year my interest in soccer has peaked and I plan to watch and learn more, especially the Premier League.

Welcome aboard. Always nice to add another Gooner to our ranks.

So, how do y'all feel about Kroenke getting majority ownership? I'm not thrilled.

People are overreacting. Why would Kroenke pay hundreds of millions to buy the rest of the shares just to run the team into the ground? He could do that without buying the extra shares. Now don't get me wrong I don't expect Stan to all of a sudden dump money into the club. We will still operate on a budget based off of the profits we generate as a club. So it will probably be more of the same. With all that said I would definitely rather an owner who wants to actively invest in the squad.
Short version - I expect things to continue as is with the club.

Very interesting. I guess we won't be selling Ramsey to another EPL club.

Reports of Arsenal bid for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele false. As previously reported incoming business completed a month ago. Were open to exceptional deal if chance arose (admire & have links to Dembele) but never realistic. #AFC optimistic on Ramsey contract but not close

I hope for at least this.
His other sports enterprises don't show me much, however the Rams move and his investment in them seems like it may turn out well. I guess we'll see in time.

So the City match is Sunday and I wanted to know how everyone thinks Emery will set up the team.
I think Emery puts out a 4-3-3 with Leno at keep. Bellerin, Mustafi, Sokratis, and AMN as the back four. I'll go with a midfield 3 of Ramsey, Torriera, and Xhaka and front 3 of Ozil, Mhiky, and Aubameyang.

Wouldn't mind that. I could also see Lacazette up top with Ozil and Auba outside. Maybe Ozil drifting into the middle during the match to feed balls to Laca and Auba, looking something like this.
Cech
Bellerin-Mustafi-Sokratis-AMN
Torriera
Ramsey-Xhaka
Ozil
Lacazette-Auba

I think we are going to go with a 4-2-3-1. I'd be surprised if Xhaka and Torreria are ready to start due to their relatively late arrival. I'd imagine Elneny and Ramsey would start in a midfield two, with Ozil in front of them with Auba wide, Laca up top, and Mkhi on the right.

I think it's going to be Elneny and Ramsey as well. Others havent played enough. Not for this city game.
