Longest run ever for me today, 15 miles. I didn’t push anything and finished at a 10 min pace. Never got fatigued and felt great at the end. I even worked a couple of sprints into the run. Need to get around to speed work and get faster.

Finished up my week with a 9-mile progression run this morning. Did the last couple of miles at around 8:00 and 7:30. My average easy pace while staying in HRZ 2 continues continues drop despite the increase in mileage, intensity, and heat/humidity, so I know my training has been on point for the past month. I start my transition into phase 2 next week.

My Garmin told me I wasn’t maximizing my long runs so I did today’s as a progressive push and increased my total distance to 15. I got my aerobic training effect up, so I guess it worked.
