Hopefully we can get him to commit soon

And I just don’t see emery coming

Personally I would rather Emery. But we need to get 1 of the 2 so Cain will have to do

Lol that’s quite a “settle”

Davis and Cain would be a two headed monster at LSU. Hope they can bring Noah home

That's a matter of opinion. we have a bruiser in Davis, Emery is the homerun threat. Would make a nice 1-2 punch.

As happy as I would be that we got Cain...he’s not better than emery.

I agree. But I'd rather Spivey over Cain too.
At least we can say we'll look better in the recruiting rankings, I guess.

Patrick Surtain was better than Mario Goodrich, how did that turn out for LSU.

How can you say that Surtain was better than Goodrich & they haven't even played a down on the field yet? Unbelievable how brainwashed some people are that are only "stargazers".
Foster Moreau is the best TE on LSU's roster by far & he was a 3 star all the way...meanwhile Jacory Washington was a high 4 star by every recruiting service & hasn't seen any meaningful snaps heading into his senior season at LSU. He was also in the under armour AA game
Besides all of that, the bigger point is that LSU missed out on 2 tremendous CB prospects by slow playing Goodrich for Surtain & it ultimately backfired on them. I think the staff has learned their lesson

Davis is a homerun threat as well. Dude got some wheels for his size. Should be a top 5 back in this class

I'll say this though, judging from his twitter that I'm seeing on his 247 profile and the fact that 247's predictions are all over the map, I think whoever he commits to first won't be the last school.

He and Davis would be a good RB haul.

Watch both of these and you be the judge.
If you can think for yourself and not rely on the opinions of the recruiting "experts", one's clearly better than the other.
In short: One is slow as molasses and has gotten worse since his freshmen year. And the other is significantly faster and hasn't even touch his potential yet - and he's better than Cain right now.
Cain's Junior Highlights - Hudl
Spivey's Junior Highlights - Hudl

Because Surtain was the best cb prospect since PP7?

Emery looks great in his film. But, the competition level is a little lower and he's not as big as Cain or Davis - he's taller and lighter, more lean than Cain.
Cain and Davis are both bigger backs - especially Davis. These two guys together - along with other guys like CEH and Curry - will flat wear defenses out!
#excited

One is a complete back, the other is not.
One is going up against good defenses, the other is going up against the next frat bros at Alabama colleges.
And it's not just the recruiting "experts" that have Cain rated higher, it's the LSU coaches, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, Penn State, Auburn (in-state school for Spivey), etc.
Spivey doesn't even have a committable offer from us otherwise he would have been smart enough to get a spot already.
So yeah, in my own opinion of Cain being a LOT better than Spivey, I'm also joined in that by some of the best coaches out there and recruiting "experts" But thanks for trying to be edgy

My point is Orgeron waited for Surtain when Goodrich was ready to commit, A Bird in The Hand
