re: Greatest all time drama series

Mad Men for me. I’ve never watched a show where I went through so many emotional swings with the main characters. You love them one min, hate them the next. I enjoyed watching Don rise, fall, bottom out, then rise again and question whether he really learned anything in the process.

I can respect the quality of Breaking Bad but I hated watching it. I figure it’s due to two things:
#1. I didn’t watch it on the original run. I binged it. It’s a show that benefits from a slow burn.
#2. I hated Walt from the first time he appeared onscreen. Hated him. It was hard to get into the show for me because of that.
