Not really...not by a player with pads and a helmet. He's not a football player...just because a person is on the field doesn't mean they are part of the game and fair game to get lit up by a 300 pound lineman. If a ball girl runs out there to retreive a dropped water bottle is she now fair game and assuming the risk? First off, let the security officials handle it. They aren't massive Pro athletes that can seriously injure someone. And if you can sue cops for excessive force such as violently throwing you to the ground during an arrest, you can certainly sue a Pro football player who has no business tackling anyone but the other guys with pads and helmets on.

My God....you come across like a giant pussy.

Showing my age but still can see the Mad Stork, all 6'8" of him, when he was playing for the Old Raiders, that semi out law team, when a fan ran out on the field, between the line of scrimmage. When he got to where The Stork was kneeling, The Stork rose up & gave one of most classic examples of a close line that I have ever seen. Fan went down in a matter of seconds; he never moved. No one on either team did, either. Kenny Stabler said they ran that high light over & over & over, each time the cheers getting louder & louder. Oh for the good old days.
