How many here know about the symptothermal method as well as the creighton method?

The two methods presented above are not the rhythm method.
effectiveness rate of symptothermal method
Creighton method effectiveness rate
Both of the presented methods above are as highly effective as regular BC or condoms when used correctly. 95%+
Basically the symptothermal method requires one to take their temperature every morning and record it. Women naturally have a shift in temperature after ovulation due to the increase in progesterone as the dominating hormone. The shift in temperature occurs after ovulation.
The creighton method uses mucus observations to determine fertility. The characteristics of the mucus determines fertility or closeness to ovulation.
I wonder why more people do not know about this. This should be taught to girls when they get their periods so that they can actually learn about their bodies and not just artificially dose themselves with hormones.
Thoughts?

Most couples don’t want to plan their sex life around checking their vaginal secretions

Been doing this one for years. Anytime I bring a girl back from the bars, I ask her to hock up some phlegm into a cup for me, then I play around with it to determine it’s thickness.
It’s been 100% effective for me in preventing pregnancy because the girls always hightail it outta my house when I do this.

They’re not taught because this method relies heavily on human judgment (thus it fails a lot based on human error). The perfect use rate is high, but typical use rates are bad because people screw it up. It’s a good way for a woman to know about her body & whether her cycles are normal, luteal phase is sufficient to sustain a pregnancy, etc., but it takes a lot of diligence if used to prevent pregnancy.

I get that, but most people don't even have a clue about these two methods. Thats more the point of thread I guess.
Human error undoubtedly is it biggest downfall though.
