Some guy who went to Tulane was asking me about Fat City and talking about how they'd drive from Uptown to Metairie for a big night out.
Thought he was screwing with me at first.
As for now, the cheapie apartment complexes have brought it down but the parish is trying to make it over. We'll see.

Wasn’t there a bar called Main Event in Fat City where guys would fight each other in a boxing ring?
