I don't think a top O lineman will be there at 27.

27 is about the area for where the top guards and centers are projected to go

It's rare when a guard might be top 10 pick. Far as guards, Saints have 2 great ones. They need a back up Center.

I'm hearing Connor Williams got a long look in a one on one work out today at the UT pro day. The Saints were the only team to give him an individual work out. They like his athleticism and even had him work out at center. This more than likely be the pick if he's still there. He is rising fast and the Cowboys like him too. He's a Dallas kid and they may nab him at 19 or try to trade down and get him later in the first.

The Saints finished as the top rated O-line in the NFL last season

Armstead is always hurt, Unger ain't young, Strief retired, we signed an old vet.

O-line is definitely a need, at some point or another.

Payton labeled edge rusher, tight end and receiver as “musts” for this offseason, whether in free agency or the draft.

Absolutely. Absolutely,” Payton said. “We went into this process it’s a ‘must.’ And so we haven’t addressed it yet. So it’ll be important.

And those musts don’t have any flexibility,” Payton said. “We have to accomplish that.
