I think it had more to do with the fact he knew Richard could keep going if he wanted to. Losing $9,000 was just a demonstration.

Shut down delivering pizza until product development is complete. It was a junk idea. You're either a pizza maker, pizza delivery service or service app.
What kind of dumb frick goes I'll go into all three verticals that isn't Dominos or Pizza Hut.
